The land of a million elephants

 Laos is a hidden treasure between mountains and huge forests, a country full of history and culture totally unknown. The things that attract me are the beautiful landscapes typical of Southeast Asia with the touch of virginity that Laos brings, its little tourist exploitation makes that natural monuments such as Vang Vieng, Muang Ngoi Neua or The Kuang Si waterfalls, worthys of a tale of fantasy.

I like this country because it is a destination with a calm atmosphere without hustle and bustle to really relax. I know little more than what can be found in videos or photos, it is a communist country, really poor and with very kind people, or so they say. In addition to visiting all the natural wonders, I would like to do the Gibbon Experience, zip-line to a tree house where you can see nature among the forest's life with safety and good food.

I would love to live in Laos when I am retired, living my last years in a tropical paradise would be a good ending for me.
